PdaNet for Android PdaNet for BlackBerry
PdaNet for PalmOS PdaNet for Windows Mobile PdaNet for iPhone

We have a sophisticated activation system in place that identifies piracy usage of the PdaNet software. It can typically trace two types of possible piracy attempts:

The first type is when the same serial number has been activated by more devices than it was previously purchased for. For example, when the user only purchased a single-device license and shared the license code with another user, then whoever tries to register last will receive a license warning. It is possible that you purchase a license and then change phones, in which case you can safely ignore the license warning as long as you no longer use PdaNet on the old phone. Otherwise you should purchase additional licenses to cover all devices.

The second type - also the more severe type - is when attempting to use a hacked version of PdaNet or registration with a hacked/unauthorized license code. Once detected, the user may receive a message that says "Unauthorized registration detected and subject to piracy investigation".

PdaNet is protected by copyright law and international treaties. Unauthorized usage of this program may result in severe civil and criminal penalties, and will be prosecuted to the maximum extent possible under the law. Under criminal investigations repeat offendors will be identified with the information we collected during unauthorized usage of PdaNet.

Report piracy here and you may be eligible for a reward of up to $1 million.
